Walt Disney World has just unveiled its plans for the Christmas season, providing many exciting details of activities and dates for visitors to enjoy. The festivities will take place at various locations, including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs, and the enchanting Disney hotels.
This year, the holiday fun at Walt Disney World will commence on November 11, 2023, the same as last year’s start date. However, there’s an intriguing twist as the celebration kickstarts on a Saturday, breaking the traditional Friday pattern.
The festivities will run all the way through to December 31, 2023. In other areas, the melodies and decorations will gradually fade away within the initial week or so of January 2024.
Walt Disney World has already confirmed the return of the highly anticipated Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which takes place in Magic Kingdom and will be held on select nights throughout November and December 2023.

Something new this year is a sing-along in front of Cinderella Castle. For the first time ever, visitors will have the opportunity to gather and join Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the Snowgies for the enchanting “Frozen Holiday Surprise.” This brand-new Frozen-inspired entertainment spectacle promises to light up the castle in a new exciting way!
In Toy Story Land, Woody, Jessie, and Buzz will make appearances dressed in their holiday best, complete with scarves and Santa hats.
Furthermore, Minnie Mouse will play host to a delightful yuletide feast at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the return of Minnie’s Holiday Dine—a beloved event that we wholeheartedly adore. Joining Minnie in their finest holiday attire will be Santa Goofy and a host of other delightful characters.
Of course, the ultimate Christmas “character” is none other than Santa Claus himself. Jolly Old St. Nick will make special appearances throughout all four parks of Walt Disney World, as well as at Disney Springs and even one of the water parks. Expect to find him dressed in his tropical holiday beachwear, embracing the unique spirit of the occasion.
Speaking of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, mark your calendars for November 24 through December 30, 2023, as this extraordinary event will make a triumphant comeback. Prepare to indulge in delectable treats from Holiday Kitchens scattered throughout the park, savor the harmonious melodies of the Voices of Liberty, embark on the famous Cookie Stroll, and much more.
With these enchanting plans unveiled for the Christmas season at Walt Disney World, visitors can eagerly anticipate a joyous and magical experience.
